Skills and Experience.
My experience brings together law, finance, business processes, compliance, and digitalization.
Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of law, finance, compliance, and business processes. I combine legal and regulatory requirements with a practical understanding of business environments and the processes through which these requirements are implemented. I further complement my professional expertise with international qualifications, including ACCA Affiliate status and the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Foundation certification in information security, as well as the Level II Professional Examination in General Administrative Procedure (ZUP), qualifying me to conduct administrative proceedings under Slovenian law.
I have gained experience in preparing legal opinions and documentation, establishing internal control systems, risk management, digitalization, and business process optimization, as well as developing frameworks for monitoring business processes and key data. I have worked across a range of business and regulated environments, including IT and technology companies, healthcare, medical devices, and the public sector.
A particular area of my expertise is access to public information, where I have practical experience in managing and handling complex procedures, assessing exemptions from public access, protecting personal data and trade secrets, implementing partial access, and preparing procedural documentation.
In my work, I place particular emphasis on integrating professional requirements with business processes and information solutions. I see technology as a tool for simplifying work, increasing process transparency, improving data management, and reducing operational and regulatory risks.
